With over 50% of small businesses failing within their first five years, Clover and Sony (Shark Tank) partnered to create an in-person experience designed to equip entrepreneurs with the tools, wisdom, and inspiration needed to succeed.

I led creative direction and design for the Clover x Shark Tank Summit, held in Las Vegas at the Venetian (September 2025). This high-profile collaboration celebrated the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, and small business, bringing together influential voices and bold ideas to empower the next generation of business leaders.

Working closely with internal Clover teams and Sony’s media partners, I developed the full brand identity for the Summit, including the mark, overall look and feel, and a scalable creative system applied across all touchpoints. This included pre-event marketing campaigns such as the rollout of social graphics, email design, website assets, digital signage, and press materials. The experience debuted earlier at SXSW 2025, where it was introduced to founders and innovators who recognized the power of technology and storytelling in driving business forward.

During the Summit, I provided on-site design support for social and video content and led the environmental design for the physical space at the Venetian. This included large-scale digital signage, physical signage, stage and activation graphics, event swag, and additional branded elements throughout the venue, creating a cohesive and immersive on-site experience that connected seamlessly with the pre-event narrative.

The Summit hosted 256 small business leaders, including 59 Clover clients, and featured nearly 30 industry-leading speakers such as Mark Cuban, Tabitha Brown, and Gary Vaynerchuk. Attendee feedback reflected the event’s impact, with a 99% satisfaction rate for session speakers and 95% satisfaction with overall sessions and content.

The cohesive creative strategy supported visibility and engagement across the full lifecycle of the event, resulting in 228K website visits, 137K social media impressions, and 1.2B earned media impressions. The Summit was covered by 12 major media outlets, including Inc., Forbes, CNBC Make It, Fast Company, Afrotech, Blavity, Axios, Fox, Morning Brew, The VC Corner, Black Enterprise, and Product Market Fit.

The event was ultimately recognized as Best Brand Collaboration Event by BizBash, marking it as a career-defining project that combined big-brand partnership, strategic storytelling, and immersive design to elevate Clover’s commitment to small business owners nationwide.
